The genre-defying album The Gathering, produced and conceived of by world-renowned producer, composer, and multi-instrumentalist Ferdinando Arnò, documents a feverishly inspired cross-cultural dialogue, featuring a formidable collective of musicians spread across three continents. The album is a wonderfully, motley musical mashup featuring Arnò in close collaboration with musicians from around the world. The composition “Tamburi” features the Alfio Antico—the talking drum—powerfully contrasted with futuristic rhythms. Here, Arnò is collaborating with blind singer-guitarist Daniel Gonora and brass section leader Joseph Chinouriri. Another profound cultural exchange is in the song “Preta.” This swirl of sound features improv from United States-based percussionist—Gabriel Jarrett—son of legendary jazz icon Keith Jarrett; second-line funk from New Orleans-based Native American band Cha Wa; the buttery vocals of British-born singer-actress Sandy Chambers; the fierce flows of New York hip-hop MC Dante Lennon and the emotional flow of London, England-based rapper Brother May; the warmly winsome vocals of Common Mama’s Jon Kenzie; and cameos from Gaetano Carrozzo and the Moka Band. The song was written by Ferdinando Arnò and Joe Barbieri, and the video features Neapolitan actor Lino Musella. The Gathering also features the musical mosaic of "Santu Lazzaru” which boasts a fragment of Miriam Makeba’s a cappella version of “The Click Song” enhanced with the addition of the Simple Impact Choir, and a sample the from an ancient song by the Salento artist Uccio Aloisi.

This is a global pandemic, and a wonderful way to heal our souls is to create together. The new track “What Love” embodies this spirit of unity. It is the soundtrack of different musical cultures fitting together like puzzle pieces to create an intriguing, pancultural jam brimming with balmy African melodies, rhythms, and soul.

This four-minute United Nations of good vibes has been conceived by Ferdinando Arnò who wrote and produced the track. It features contributions from around the world, including musicians Isaac and Daniel Gonora from Zimbabwe, along with special guests from Chicago, Los Angeles, and Milan, before it received the golden sonic touch in New Jersey from iconic mastering engineer Greg Calbi who works out of legendary Sterling Sound Studios.

The vibe here was to create something of a “planet song,” an artistic statement that seamlessly weaves together aesthetics and cultures. To that end, “What Love” mastermind Ferdinando Arnò harnesses the power of a vibrant array of singular talents. The track includes the jazzy swagger of Angel Bat Dawid's, the mystical music stylings of tenor titan Pharoah Sanders (who Ornette Coleman calls the best tenor in the world), the rap-art poetry of B'Rael Ali Thunder, the purity and joyfulness of the Zimbabwe Kids Choir, and “What Love” boasts an A-list cast of Italian session musicians, including Paolo Costa, Giorgio Cocilovo, Daniele Comoglio, and Luana Heredia.

“What Love” is an invigorating blend of artistry, aesthetics, and cultures. It’s an act of osmosis through music, as seemingly different perspectives breakthrough barriers and border in song.

Industrial decay, raw nature, fantastical graphic design, touches of high fashion, and dramatic elegance cometogether on the video for Ferdinando Arnò and MARO’s smoldering version of “O Filho Do Recluso.” Thiscinematic short documents a battle of the soul, mind, and body that, through well-marked narrative sections, laysforth an arc of death as salvation.“The story can be interpreted in many ways, but in the video we accompany the protagonist through a journey whereit’s almost as if she dies in the end,” director Karina Taira reveals. “One layer of meaning in this is the killing of theouter ego so that she can be more in touch with her inner core, and reunited with nature.”

Close your eyes, feel your knees go weak, and let go of your inhabitations as the sexy vibes of “Dream On Me” register deep in your soul. The woozy harmonies and pop potency of the track is a pathway to a silken and sordid bedroom fantasy. Let the spell be cast because you can’t resist this neo-soul pop seduction. This elegantly erotic jam is the collaborative masterstroke of visionary composer Ferdinando Arnò and pop siren Joan As Police Woman. The mesmerizing slow-burn track was birthed by a transatlantic creative soiree between the Italian artist-producer and theNew York singer-songwriter.

“Dream On Me” seamlessly melds together each artist’s distinct creative points of view. The song froths over with rugged club beats, cinematic mood-making atmospherics, touches of intrepid Radio head-vibing ambience, and shades of futuristic indie-pop.At the center of this stylistic swirl is an undeniable pop gems moldering with Joan’s vocal shitting that dizzying sweet spot that sends the tune’s pop pheromones over the edge. Eventually, the posh and pent-up longing of the track gets released via a smooth and swaggering rapped passage courtesy of Benjamin Lazar Davis, an acclaimed emerging urban artist in the Manhattan scene

The inspiration for Radura comes from italian architect and urban planner Stefano Boeri and his own practice. Radura is an intimate and collective space that can host gatherings, readings, events, and can also be a place for individual downtime.

The landscape of Radura includes large open spaces and comfy nooks. The design of the space are inspired by Il Cortile della Farmacia, an his- torical site designed by Renaissance’s architect Filarete. The interiors of Radura are lined by 400 cylindrical wooden columns, functioning as a reso- nating chamber, making the space a unique way to experience music. The sound installation has been thoughtfully designed by Ferdinando Arnò.
